A practical item turned fashion accessory! Hat pins were originally invented to hold wimples and veils in place. By 1880 the popularity of hats soared. Hatpins followed and remained a standard women’s accessory through the 1910s. Though hatpins are rarely seen today, they are very collectible and are admired by people of the American Hatpin Society.
This hatpin is made with Czech glass.
There is only one of these hatpins, therefore if more than one person places an order the order filled will be determined by who placed the order first.
